Description
This mid-18th century house, now a hotel, is located on the south side of Yarmouth Road in Thorpe St. Andrew. The building is constructed of colourwashed brick with roofs of black glazed pantiles. The ground floor of the south front has been obscured by 20th-century additions. The upper floor has five late 19th-century casement windows set within the original window openings. Brick quoins and a moulded brick cornice are visible, and the roof is hipped. The ground level slopes, reducing the building to a single storey at the north end. Additions have also been made to the north and east sides of the building.
