Description

Old Thorpe House is an early 18th-century brick house with slate roofs, situated on Yarmouth Road in Thorpe St. Andrew. It is a double-pile building, meaning it has two rows of rooms. The house is two storeys high. A central panelled door is set within a fine carved timber case. Late 20th-century four-light casement windows are located to the right and left of the door, and are repeated on the first floor. A string course runs between the two storeys. Above the door is a small sash window. The gabled roof has rendered shaped gables.
