Description
The Kings Head Inn, a public house, dates from the 17th century and has undergone later alterations. It features a combination of painted brick and flint with pantile roofs. The main range facing the road is one storey high, becoming two storeys to the south due to a slope in the ground. There is a 19th-century three-light round-arched window with pilasters and key blocks, where the central light is taller than the others. The building has a steeply pitched hipped roof that extends to the south, continuing the original structure, although this plan is now obscured by a later two-storey gabled extension to the east. The two-storey south front has been significantly altered. To the right, there is a two-storey wing featuring four sash windows with glazing bars and a 20th-century glazed door on the ground floor. An outbuilding made of rubble and pantiles is also included to the right.
