Description

The Fosseway Hotel is a house that has been converted into a hotel. It was built in the early 19th century and has undergone alterations in the mid 19th century and the 20th century. The building is constructed of brick, which is colourwashed on the front, with brick dressings and a slate roof. It features a plinth, a sill band, two gable stacks, and a single side wall stack. The windows have rubbed brick heads and the building is two storeys high, with a three-window range of plain sashes. The central entrance has a 20th-century pedimented wooden doorcase, which is flanked by single plain sashes.
