Description

Sheriff House Hotel is a mid-18th century building, altered in the 19th century, originally a home and now operating as a hotel. It is constructed of brick with flint bands on the sides, with the front rendered and featuring incised lines. The roof is of old plain tiles. The building is two storeys high and has three bays. The central entrance features a six-panel door sheltered by a flat hood. Five six-pane sash windows are present, each with narrow side panes and a narrow sash over the entrance door. The roof has boxed eaves and a hipped profile, with symmetrical stacks set behind the ridge.
