Description
The Old Town Hall, built in 1810 with an early 20th-century addition, is a two-storey building with an attic, constructed from yellow brick with red brick at the rear. It features a three narrow bay front and is four bays deep, with a lower two-storey, two-bay addition on the left. The front has plain deep pilasters between the bays. Each bay contains rubbed brick arches with recessed arches inside, an early 20th-century Venetian window, and a door in the left bay. On the first floor, there is a central blind arched opening with a tablet below it, flanked by round blank openings. The building is topped with a deep timber pediment adorned with paired modillions. At the ridge, there is a cupola with a clock and a lead roof, complete with a weathervane.
