Description

Warren Lodge Hotel is a house that has been converted into a hotel. It dates from the early 18th century and has 19th and 20th-century extensions at both ends and the rear. The front is made of white-washed brick, while the left ground floor features brown brick. The left return front is brown brick with red brick dressings, and there are 20th-century brick extensions at the rear. The building has plain tiled roofs that step down and are obscured by a parapet on the right side.

It is two storeys high and the original house has three bays, with a plinth, a moulded plat band above the ground floor, and dentilled eaves. There are stacks at both ends. An additional three-window range has been added to the left, with the eaves cornice continuing and a stack at the end. The windows feature twelve-pane glazing-bar sash fenestration, with three windows on the first floor under wooden canopies and two windows on the ground floor. The extension to the left has three windows with similar canopies on the first floor and a projecting ground floor below supported by pier buttresses. The right extension has casement windows, including one first-floor "cross" window under a canopy and a fixed four-light window below.

The main entrance is located in the center of the original range, featuring a glazed door within an old architrave surround topped with a flat hood on fluted brackets. There are three steps leading up to the door, with curved iron handrails and 20th-century scrolled wrought-iron work.
