Description

TG 2207 SW TOWN CLOSE ROAD (north-east side) 33/909 5.6.72. Nos. 7 & 8 GV II Pair of houses. Early/Mid Cl9. Yellow brick; hipped slate roof; 2 brick chimneys. 3 storeys; 4 first-floor windows with bays defined by pilasters (double in centre). 2 centre bays project slightly and have tripartite sash windows. 3 steps up to 6-panelled doors in recessed end wings with pilasters. Windows have large-paned sashes under flat gauged brick arches. Plain cornice. Parapet over 2 centre bays has blind balustrade with laurel wreaths above the pilasters.
