Description

The Lodge to Town Close House is a mid to late 19th-century building located on Ipswich Road. It is constructed of painted brick with a rendered plinth and features a pantiled roof along with two brick ridge chimneys. The building has an irregular plan and stands two storeys high. The street-facing facade includes two first-floor windows and a blind wing. Access to the lodge is from the rear, and the windows are fitted with 20th-century casements that have glazing bars.
