Description

Nos. 36 and 38 on Church Street are early 19th-century houses. They are constructed of painted brick with a plinth and feature a moulded eaves cornice beneath a slate roof with end stacks. The buildings have two storeys and an irregular three-window front, with glazing bar sashes set in open boxes; the window above the door is blind. To the left of the entrance, there is a small window. The entrance features a panelled door with a transom light, framed by a pilastered surround topped with a cornice hood. These houses are included in the listing for their group value.
