Description

29 George Street is an early 19th-century house constructed of red brick with a slate roof. The building stands two storeys tall and features ridge cresting and end ridge stacks. The front facade has a regular arrangement of three windows, which are glazing bar sashes set in raised painted surrounds. The central entrance boasts a panelled door with a leaded transom light above, flanked by attenuated Ionic half-columns that support a pulvinated frieze entablature above.
