Description
The Manse is a house built around 1850, constructed of red brick in English bond with tuck pointing and topped with a slate roof. It stands two storeys high and features a central gable projection with a pediment. The building has a plain painted cornice and boxed eaves. The front facade is regularly arranged with three windows, which are fitted with glazing bar sashes that have cornice hoods supported by volute brackets. The central entrance is recessed and flanked by antae that have egg-and-dart capitals, topped with a deep entablature. The entrance itself consists of a raised six-panel door, accompanied by pairs of flanking pilasters that display inscribed Soaneian decoration and volute capitals.
