Description

25 and 27 George Street are a pair of houses built in the early to mid-19th century. They are constructed of red brick and feature a slate roof. The buildings are two storeys high and have stacks on the roof slope at the front and rear, positioned to the left and in the centre. The façade has two windows, which are glazing bar sashes with moulded cement heads on either side of the centre. There are panelled doors set in pilastered surrounds, each topped with cornice hoods supported by brackets and featuring margin transom-lights, located to the left and right of centre. These houses are included for their group value.
