Description

33 and 35 Woodmarket is a pair of houses built in the early to mid-19th century. They are constructed of red brick and topped with a slate roof. The buildings are two storeys high and feature a moulded wooden eaves cornice along the roof, with stacks at each end. The front has a regular arrangement of four windows, which are glazing bar hornless sashes with gauged heads. There are round-arched entrances with panelled doors and fanlights, each topped by cornice-hoods supported by brackets, located between the first and second, and third and fourth windows from the left. In the centre, there is a lower arched entrance with a boarded door that leads to the rear of the building. This pair of houses is included in the listing for their group value.
