Description

This early 19th-century house is located on Woodmarket in Lutterworth. The exterior is roughcast with a slate roof. It is two-and-a-half storeys high, featuring a moulded eaves cornice and end stacks. The front facade has a regular three-window arrangement, with glazing bar hornless sash windows on both the first and ground floors. These windows have painted surrounds, and fictive keyblocks break up the design above and below. A central arched entrance is framed by a panelled door and a wreathed and radiating fanlight, all within a Doric-columned surround. This surround is topped by a full cornice with globes on pedestals at each corner.
