Description

Broomfield House is an early 19th-century house located in Thaxsted Mill End. The house is timber-framed and plastered, with a grey slate hipped roof. It is two storeys high and has a four-window front, featuring double vertical sliding sash windows with boxed heads on fretted brackets, moulded surrounds, and small brackets under the cills. The ground floor windows are modern casements. A wood doorcase has a flat canopy and a rectangular fanlight. Red brick chimney stacks are present.
