Description

Stoneville is a late 17th-century house originally constructed with a timber frame and weatherboard cladding, and later rendered on the end wall. The roof is covered with red plain tiles. The house is two storeys high with attics, and originally had a two-window front. It now features double-hung vertical sliding sash windows with glazing bars. A bow window has been added to the ground floor. A mid-mullioned eaves cornice runs along the top of the building, and there are two gabled dormers in the roof. The original red brick chimney stack remains. The building was once extended to the northwest, but that section has since been removed. The building possesses group value from its contribution to the streetscape.
