Description
This is a house, dating to the late 15th and early 16th centuries, with alterations made in the mid-19th century. It is built with a timber frame, now rendered and displaying trenched tension bracing to the close-studded and formerly jettied front facade. The roof is covered with slate, and there's a brick stack. The house originally had a 2-unit plan. It is two storeys high, with a two-window front. A 20th-century door is located on the right side. The windows are 16-pane sashes set within moulded wood architraves. The interior was noted to have stop-chamfered spine beams with run-out stops, plain joists, and a 2-bay crown-post roof with a ridge piece inserted in the early to mid-19th century. The rear of the house was not inspected.
