Description

The Little House is a 17th-century small house located on the south side of Thaxted Town Street. It is timber framed and plastered, topped with a red plain tile roof. The building features two prominent gables and stands two storeys high. The façade includes a two-window range with double hung vertical sliding sashes that have glazing bars. On the ground floor, there is a large modern shop window. The entrance is accentuated by a flat canopy supported by simple consoles and moulded pilasters.
