Description

Coleraines is a 17th-century timber-framed and plastered house that features an 18th-century blue brick front with red brick dressings. The building has a parapet and a brick cornice and stands two storeys tall. There is a raised brick band that runs between the storeys. The front has a five-window range with double-hung sashes that include margin and horizontal glazing bars, all set in flush cased frames with segmental brick arched heads. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door, with the upper panels glazed, framed by a wood doorcase that has fluted pilasters and a cornice hood supported by brackets. The rear of the house retains its timber-framed and plastered structure. The roof is tiled and has a double pitch. Inside, there is a 17th-century panelled room.
