Description
The Rodney Inn is a building originally constructed in the 17th century as a timber-framed and plastered house. It has undergone significant alterations in the 18th century and later, with renovations taking place in the 20th century. The front of the building features roughcast panels and it stands two storeys high, with two windows on both the north and east sides. The north front includes double-hung sash windows with glazing bars, except for one 20th-century casement window on the ground floor. The east front has 20th-century casement windows. The roof is hipped and tiled. The Rodney Inn is part of a group that includes North Hill, Fern Cottage, Cock Farmhouse, Hillside Cottage, The Return, and No 57, with the latter three being of local interest.
