Description
The Marquis Cornwallis Inn is a 17th-century building that features timber framing and plaster, with alterations made in the 18th century. The ground floor is faced in painted brick, while the south end has some weatherboarding. The roof is tiled and the building has two storeys. It has a three-window range, primarily consisting of 3-light double-hung sashes with glazing bars and narrow sidelights. On the first storey, there are two small horizontal sliding sashes with glazing bars. A large ridge chimney stack is present, with a square shaft that has been rebuilt on an earlier base.
