Description

This is an 18th century timber-framed cottage located on Upper Street in Layham. It has a tiled roof and chimney stacks at each end. The two-storey facade has a three-window arrangement, featuring 2-light casement windows in moulded wooden frames. The centre window on the upper storey is blocked, while the ground floor windows have leaded lights. A central six-panel door is framed by a reeded architrave and topped with an elliptical fanlight.
