Description

Nos 6 and 8 Silver Street are a symmetrical pair of cottages built in 1927 by Thomas Tait, showcasing the International Modern architectural style. The cottages are two storeys high and each features two windows. They are constructed from brick, which is rendered and colorwashed, and have a flat roof with a parapet. There are projecting canopies over the original entrance doors. The cottages have replacement windows and three brick chimney stacks with later coping.
