Description

1 and 3 Silver Street are a symmetrical pair of cottages built in 1927 by Thomas Tait, showcasing the International Modern style. The cottages are two stories high and each has two windows. They feature a flat roof and the outer bays are recessed. There are projecting canopies over the altered entrance doors, and the first-floor windows are set within a recessed horizontal band. The original openings have replacement windows. Additionally, there are three brick chimney stacks with later coping.
