Description
A symmetrical pair of cottages was built in 1927 by Thomas Tait, designed in an International Modern style. They are constructed of painted brick with a continuous rendered parapet, and each is two stories high, two windows wide, with a flat roof. Original entrance doors are located in the outer bays, each with a projecting canopy. "V" shaped metal bay windows are above, featuring pinnacles at the corners. Later replacement windows are present. Brick chimney stacks are topped with later coping. A brick wall connects the cottages to numbers 13 and 15, providing access to the rear gardens.
