SILVER STREET 1. 5210 (north side) Silver End TL 81 NW 5/155 Nos 17 and 19

II GV 2. Symmetrical pair of cottages, 1927, by Thomas Tait in International Modern idiom. Painted brick with continuous rendered parapet. Each two storeyed, two windows wide. Flat roof. Original entrance doors to outer bays with projecting canopies. 'V' shaped metal bay windows above with pinnacles to corners. Other windows replaced. Brick chimney stacks with later coping. Linked to 13 and 15 by brick wall with entrance to rear gardens.
