Description

Nos 22 and 24 Silver Street are a symmetrical pair of cottages built in 1927 by Thomas Tait, showcasing the International Modern style. The cottages are two storeys high and two windows wide, constructed from brick and finished with render and colourwash. They feature a flat roof with a parapet. The original entrance doors are adorned with projecting canopies, while the windows have been replaced but remain in their original openings. There are two brick chimney stacks, which have later coping added.
