Description

Nos 21 and 23 on Silver Street are a symmetrical pair of cottages built in 1927 by Thomas Tait, showcasing the International Modern architectural style. The cottages are constructed from painted brick and feature a continuous rendered parapet. Each cottage is two storeys high and has two windows. They have flat roofs and original entrance doors that are topped with projecting canopies. The windows have been replaced but remain in their original openings. There are two brick chimney stacks, which have later coping added.
