Description

Garnetts Cottage, located on Braintree Road in Felsted, is a house that has been divided into two dwellings. It dates back to the 16th century or earlier, with some later additions and alterations. The building has two storeys and features a plain red tiled roof. It is constructed with a timber frame and plaster, and has a weatherboard plinth. The front has a range of three small paned casement windows. There is an off-centre 20th-century board door with a flat canopy above it. To the left, there is an external red brick chimney stack, along with an off-centre attached diagonal chimney shaft.
