Description
Rosslyn House is a 17th-century house with a 19th-century facade, located on Braintree Road in Felsted. The building is two storeys high and features a timber frame with rough plastered walls and a grey slate roof. It has a three-window range of casements, each with shutters. The entrance includes a panelled door with a small paned light above it, framed by a fine door case that has a flat canopy, decorative mouldings, and lozenge decoration on both the frieze and the canopy. The house is topped with a square red brick chimney, along with another chimney that has a moulded square base and four diagonal attached shafts.
