Description

Boarded Barn Farmhouse is a 17th century house that is timber framed and plastered, topped with a grey slate roof. The building has two storeys and attics, featuring a three-window range of 19th century casements. Above the door, there is a simple canopy supported by brackets. The house has a rectangular plan with three bays and a chimney bay, along with a lean-to extension at the west end. The original chimney stack has been partly rebuilt, and there is a 19th century chimney stack at the west end. The site was originally moated.
