Description
Upper Vaunce's Farmhouse is a 17th century timber-frame house that has been plastered. It features a steep slate roof with gabled ends and an off-centre brick chimney stack. The building has two storeys and three widely spaced windows, which include 19th century and modern casements. The north side has been enhanced with an early 19th century addition that has a lean-to black glazed pantile roof. This addition is also two storeys high and consists of three bays, with three early 19th century casements on the first floor and sashes with glazing bars on the ground floor. The central doorway is framed with a moulded architrave, cornice, and a panelled door.
