Description

The Laurels is a 17th-century timber-framed house that has been plastered and partly faced with brick. It features a steep black glazed pantile roof with gabled ends and a central brick chimney stack with lozenge-shaped shafts. The house has two storeys and an attic, with attic windows located in the end gables. It is arranged in three bays and has 19th-century sash windows that do not have glazing bars. At the center, there is a late 19th-century two-storeyed gabled porch with pierced ornate bargeboards. On the west end, there is a late 19th-century two-storeyed splayed bay window. Additionally, there is probably an early 19th-century brick lean-to at the rear (north).
