Description

Willow House is a 17th-century house located on Low Road in Fressingfield. It features a timber frame with old plasterwork, including textured pargetting on the front. The hipped roof is covered in black pantiles. The house has two storeys and an attic, with an L-shaped plan that includes a small wing at the rear. There are three early 18th-century mullion and transom casement windows with square-leaded glass, plus an additional one-light window above the doorway. The entrance is a lobby with a six-panel door, where the upper two panels are glazed, set within a pilastered doorcase that has a frieze and cornice. The house has three dormers, two with triangular pediments and one with a segmental shape, all featuring mid-20th-century large-paned windows. Each wing has an internal stack.
