FRINTON AND WALTON THORPE ROAD TM 2020/2120 KIRBY CROSS (north side) 12/60 No. 178 - II Cottage. C16 or earlier. Timber framed and plastered. Corrugated asbestos clad roof possibly covering thatch. Central attached diagonal shaft chimney stack. One storey and attics. 2 C20 casements. Central C20 gabled porch. 2 bays with central chimney stack. Interior features include, halved arched braces to walls, chamfered bridging joists to inserted ceiling. Original stairs by chimney. Side purlin roof. Rear wing.
