Description

Mill House is a late 16th-century cottage with 17th-century alterations, located on the south side of Frinton and Walton Thorpe Road, near Kirby Cross. The building is timber-framed with plaster infill and a brick plinth, topped with a red plain tiled roof. It has red brick chimney stacks, one external on the left side. The house is one storey high with attic space. A single-storey extension to the left has a hipped roof and a single window and vertically boarded door. Three gabled dormers project from the main roofline, each containing a two-light casement window. The front facade features two small-paned, vertically sliding sash windows, and a central two-panel, two-light door.
