Description

Plumtree Cottage is a cottage dating from the 17th or 18th century. It is timber framed and weatherboarded, featuring a half hipped thatched roof with an outshot at the rear. The cottage has a central red brick chimney stack and is one storey high with attics. There are two eyebrow dormers, each with two light small paned casements. On the ground floor, there are two small paned windows with pentice boards above them; the window to the left is a horizontal sliding sash. The right side has a vertically boarded door, also with a pentice board above. Inside, there are original internal doors with ironmongery.
