Description

White Ladies is a cottage located on the south side of Thorpe Road in Kirby Cross. It dates from the 17th or 18th century, or possibly earlier. The cottage is timber framed and has a rough rendered finish, topped with red plain tiled roofs. It features red brick chimney stacks on the left external side and centrally on the right. The left side has a single storey range, while the right side has one storey and attics, which include two gabled dormers. The windows are 1:4 two light diamond leaded casements, with those on the right paired and covered by pentice boards. There is a gable porch on the left, which has a 20th-century plank and muntin door.
