Description

Barton Marine is a shop with a flat, dating from the mid-19th century. It features red brickwork and a gabled concrete pantiled roof. The building stands three storeys high and has a four-window range of double-hung sash windows, each with segmental arches, rendered arches, keystones, a central vertical glazing bar in the upper pane, and plaster decoration below the sill. The shop front includes a fascia with a cornice and consists of four bays with segmental arches and painted timber pilasters. Above each pilaster is a diamond motif, along with painted timber keystones above the arches. The stall risers are rendered, and there is a pair of doors located in the northwest bay.
