Description
Numbers 33 and 35 are a row of cottages located on South Street in Rochford. They date from the 18th century or earlier and have undergone later alterations and additions. The cottages are timber framed and plastered, featuring a red plain tiled roof on the left and a red pantiled roof on the right. There are two red brick chimney stacks. The buildings are one storey with attics and include three gabled dormers, each with two-light small paned casements. To the right, there is a carriageway with two-light small paned casements above it. To the left of three vertically boarded doors, there are small paned windows, with the left window being a fixed central horizontal sliding sash and the right a vertically sliding sash.
