Description

The pair of cottages at 39 and 41 South Street date to the 18th and 19th centuries. They are timber-framed with a weatherboarded exterior and a red tile roof which extends outwards at the rear. A central chimney stack is constructed of red brick. The cottages have two storeys and a two-window front. Each window is a small-paned vertically sliding sash with moulded surrounds. A stepped approach leads to a half-glazed door on either side, each with a simple surround.
