Description
This barn, located approximately 70 metres northwest of Reddings Farmhouse, dates from the 19th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and is covered in weatherboarding, sitting on a brick plinth. The roof is half hipped and made of corrugated asbestos. The barn features two gabled midstreys that face the farmyard, with through bracing in the walls. Inside, there is a side purlin ridge board roof and hanging knees supporting the tie beams. The barn likely has seven bays and was in full use for storage at the time of the re-survey. It is part of a farm complex that includes an attached cart lodge and outbuildings to the southeast and southwest.
