Description

This barn, located approximately 30 metres south of Bay Tree Farmhouse, dates from around 1800. It is constructed with a timber frame and is covered in weatherboarding, topped with a red pantiled roof that has an outshot to the right of a gabled midstrey. The barn consists of three main bays plus an additional bay on the right. The walls feature through bracing, and the roof is supported by a side purlin ridge board. Inside, there is a brick threshing floor, and the structure shows significant reuse of early timber. The barn is included for its group value with the adjacent farmhouse.
