Description

Barnfield is a house dating from the 16th century, with later alterations and restorations. It features a timber frame with plaster and has a red plain tiled roof. The building is L-shaped, with a jettied range on the left side and off-centre left rear and external right chimneystacks on the right range. It has two storeys and a single-storey lean-to on the left return. The front has a window arrangement of one window on the left and two windows on the right, all of which are 2-light casements. There is a plank and muntin door located to the left of the left range.
