Description
This is a pair of cottages dating to the 18th and 19th centuries. They are timber-framed with weatherboard cladding, and have a red clay tiled roof. A central brick chimney stack rises from the roof. The cottages have two storeys, and a long run of single-storey and attic outbuildings to the rear, one of which has a thatched roof and gabled dormers. The front of the cottages features a two-window arrangement of small-paned vertically sliding sash windows. Each cottage has a four-panelled door with a moulded surround. A section of the rear outbuildings was originally used as the village cobbler’s shop.
