Description

The L-plan outbuilding range, formerly stables, is located to the south of The Cap and Feathers Public House and dates from the 18th to 19th century. It is constructed with a timber frame and is weatherboarded, featuring red plain tiled roofs. The layout consists of a forward range that abuts the rear of Tillingham Post Office, creating a cobbled courtyard between the two buildings. The rear range has two double vertically boarded doors and one single vertically boarded door. The forward range includes two open bays, two stable doors, and two small paned casements, forming an attractive group. This building is included for its group value.
