Description
Quinneys is a cottage dating from the 18th century, with later alterations and additions. It is constructed with a timber frame and weatherboarding, topped with red plain tiled roofs. The gable end faces the road, while the rear features an in-line extension with a hip roof. There are red brick chimney stacks on each range. The building is one storey with attics.
On the gable, there is a 19th-century vertically sliding sash window with a pentice board above it. To the left of the ground floor, there is a small single light window in a lean-to, and a small paned shop bay window. The right side of the building has two vertically sliding sash windows with glazing bars and pentice boards above them. A red tiled gabled porch is located on the left, featuring a 20th-century door. Inside, the original winding stair remains intact.
