Description
Rectory Cottage is a cottage dating from the 17th or 18th century, with a 20th-century rear extension. It is timber framed and weatherboarded, featuring a red plain tiled gambrel roof. The building has one storey and attics, with two flat-headed dormers and two small-paned oriels that have pentice boards above them. A central 20th-century red tiled porch leads to a glazed door. On the left side, there is a red brick chimney stack. Although much of the interior is covered with 20th-century decoration, the original frame appears to be intact, with bracing visible in the walls and a red brick fireplace in the left room.
