Description
This is an L-plan range of outbuildings located to the northeast of Llwyngoras, dating from the early to later 19th century. The buildings are constructed from rubble stone and feature corrugated asbestos roofs. They are single-storey, with the southwest end being taller and lofted.
The southwest end has a gable with heavy cornerstones, a first-floor door, and three tiers of dove holes in the gable. On the south side, there is a central door with a brick head, next to outside stairs leading to an off-centre loft door above. The stonework is banded to the right of the loft door. To the east, there is a six-bay lower range with a slate roof, which has a broad timber-lintel entry on the south side and one door to the north, near the angle of the range running north.
The range running north is slightly lower and features a concrete lean-to in the angle, followed by a door with a timber lintel, a vent-loop, and a small window towards the north end. There is an added slate-roofed section to the north with three doors, part of which is roofless.
In front of both ranges, there is a grassed ramp in the courtyard. Part of this group is likely the L-plan range depicted on the 1843 Tithe Map.
